Need help with game Help from Square enix

OK so my desktop took a shit on me. So i update my PlayStation 2 and the lags so bad you can barely move how do you make this game playable again on the PlayStation 2 system? Or am i going to have to shut off my account ?

I don't know it use to play fine. Took for ever to update it. Anyway to defragged the hard drive or something on system? I don't think there is and no I'm not going to install the game again i just did the updates took 5 hours.

only way to defrag on a ps2 is to uninstall the full game and do a clean install but the ps2 copy of the game seems to be broken just buy a used 360 and get the game off ebay for like 20 bucks and if you need a code by the computer copy on Digital download.
