I think it's a good idea in the sense that it would draw in a lot of old players and other FF fans, and I would certainly enjoy it, but I also think FFXI has a really rich and fantastic array of characters to choose from as it is and perhaps we should appreciate that a bit more? Maybe when we have exhausted the possible characters to use as trusts, then they might start considering other games...

But the fact we've had 2 crossover events suggests that it is not impossible.

Now now let's not go crazy! Rad Racer is actually a Square game so they wouldn't have to go securing any rights or anything.

And the game you're thinking of is Bad Dudes which would be awesome because then we could posit the question, "Are you a bad enough dude to rescue President Karst?"

Do you have any idea how much this saddens me? Back when SE announced XIII and showed that awesome trailer with Lightning owning people left and right (and looking so freaking gorgeous) I was so hyped about the game... and then I played the demo from the Japanese version of Advent Children complete... and then I played the actual game...

So many great games they could've released instead... like HD versions of VII and VIII at least.

ok, but dude, there are FF games before FF7 and they are incredible games, so before doing the FF7-8 addons, they should focus on the other FF games, I would love it if we were given Trusts of Maria, Leila, Lenna, Minwu, Rydia, FF4 Cid, Umaro, Faris, Gogo, Josef, Terra, Gau, even some FF9 ones, as long as they never ever, under any conditions, give us Quina. OMG, Wakka as a Trust, hells yeah!!! Oh, plus Lulu.

what about the Slime and Spriggan mon thoes are not even from Final Fantasy so i say se has opened the door for things like that

Spriggans are FF mobs, from FFXIV and FFXIVARR, making Spriggans official FF characters (technically we already have Spriggans in FFXI, but it's a different mob, plus it's in Crisis Core as well, with a different appearance.)

The shantotto minion has possessed evil doll eyes, which is why I never pull her out. Well that and because we cant have minions out when our companion is summoned, which is like 100% of the time for me.
