For reals though, how would merging bring new people to the game? "Hey, now there's MORE congestion, lets start back!"? If they can figure out a way to relieve stress on instance servers, I'd be all for a merger. Til then, I pity the low pop servers. But decent population servers are still kickin. I'm usually annoyed when trying to do Delve/Salvage/Skirmish/every once in a great while AAs (this has actually improved a great deal from when they first came out) due to congestion during both NA and JP prime times.

Don't merge popular servers then...? Like they didn't in the past.
The problem isn't that NA/EU populations are terrible, it's that JP population are fine. And they don't care as much for NA. Which is fine, it's a good business decision, appease the playerbase with more players. I just sorta wish they'd split us apart at this point. I can't remember my last interaction with a japanese player..
Fix yo hotlink, yo!

Obnoxious dead horse topic, placed in the wrong forum (WTF does a server merge have to do with the content of this web site???) At least the grammar isn't totally mangled. Then we'd have the trifecta.

FYI, a server merge doesn't mean that your crappy DRK in sparks gear and underlevelled skills is going to get into that Delve 2.0 party in 5 minutes. You're still going to need to find a guy who didn't think that playing BRD or WHM or SCH wasn't beneath him.
