While playing last nite in Abyssea, all of a sudden my screen went dark for a few seconds and then I ended up back in the POL area with the following message:
Please reset your console: error code 401 CAC.
Playing on PS3, high speed cable internet. First time I saw this problem.

Been a while... but I think that CAC reference was flagging a transmission protocol error--probly needed to reset the network components. Does your PS3 heat up a lot?

No, never had a heat problem ever. Have had many error codes over the years (as all PS2/3 users do) but this was a first.
