I play on the 360 and have found a glitch when selling.
After selling about a page and a half (in the chat log) worth of items (between 30-45) to an NPC, they will stop displaying the price of items before selling. The problem is that if you can't see the price of what you're selling, the game won't let you sell.
The problem can be resolved by backing out of the Buy/Sell menu and talking to the NPC again. Not really a game breaking glitch here, but still enough to annoy.

This occurs on PC as well. I'm fairly certain I remember an update to this a loooooooooong time ago, like 2004-2005ish, as an RMT countermeasure (mass NPCing of goods). It's not that big of a deal regardless.
