Homestead weapon for pld

Was just wondering if pld was ever going to be added to the homestead blade. I found out it wasnt on the blade when i wanted to buy it for solo rieves but only found pld on the great sword :/

Well, its a Scimitar type weapon, like Ridill, and PLD has never been on Scimitar weapons, SE is usually pretty adamant on sticking to these things, like with Eminent Dagger not having DNC on it at first... but like Eminent Dagger, they added DNC to it later because they oops'd...

But I do agree, they should have put PLD on the Homestead sword, or at the very least released a non-Scimitar model, since again, PLD don't equip Scimitars ((Unless you count Lyft Scimitar, which isn't technically a Scimitar but a Talwar/Sapara, which you can tell are distinctly different model of swords, so idkwtf their naming there)

I agree with the OP. I've never understood the lore of certain jobs on obscure weapon types likes scimitars, kris, hammers, etc. It also is a completely inconsistent practice. Paladin is on Eminent Scimitar, even Red Mage is on it and they aren't known for being on high damage base delay weapons. Both should be on Homestead given its valuable bonus in my opinion.

There are two types of weapons that have "Scimitar" in their names, on is a "Talwar/Sapara" model, the other a "Cutlass" model. PLD, outside of rare cases, cannot equip either of these model types. Generally its THF/DRK/BLU/COR/BST(RNG and SAM being common too), but sometimes more, including PLD.

Its odd honestly, they occasionally throw the basic job on these types to the wind, and othertimes not... I think this situation should have called for throwing the basic job things out in favor of putting PLD on one.
