    ps2 limitations?

    I'm sure this has been addressed once before but can't seem to find anything on it... but... why can't SE use ps3 capabilities? Offering ffxi collection as a downloadable content from the ps store would help transfer ps2 users to a better equipped system.. though the cost and time to do that may not be in SE favor, esp if they are Workin to fix ff14... adding new content would be more favorable and allow ffxi to expand more freely that way.. I'm so ready to rid my ps2 lol

    SE said it would take to long to do to recode the game over to ps3. That one of the reason they made FFXIV once they fix everything on FFXIV, FFXI would die very slowly.

    Because they'd have to recode it from the ground up. Which is why they chose to make a new game instead.
