General quality of life request thread

Let's use a thread for those general quality-of-life things that would be nice to see. The current dev team focus on improving QoL has been outstanding, so it's clearly important to them, it's important to us, and it's a lot easier than making totally new content, so I think these requests are more realistic to see quickly implemented.

    General requests:

    1. Make more old menus default to "Yes", such as Cavernous Maw entry menus, acceptance of Dominion ops, etc.

    BLU requests:
    2. Reduce/eliminate wait time after resetting blue magic.

    3. Increase number of spells blue mages can set to accomodate higher max blue magic points.

    Monstrosity requests:
    4. Increase number of instincts equippable by monipulators by 2 (there is room for 2 more boxes on the interface screen for instincts).

    5. Allow NM and HNM bonuses outside of belligerency in Monstrosity to reduce Buburimu congestion (especially during double EXP campaigns) and to make other areas more appealing and less arduous.

    6. Eliminate gestation time limit in belligerency, since gladiators can sneak up on monsters anyway with sneak and invisible.

    7. Make more attractive EXP bonus options. Currently, the one with the better Infamy to EXP ratio is the one that wears off almost instantly.

    Records of Eminence requests:
    8. Make EXP rewards scale to the content. For example, Conflict: The Shrine of Ru'Avitau should give EXP comparable to a GoV training regime in the Shrine of Ru'Avitau (3000), not Valkurm Dunes-caliber EXP (850).

    Capacity Points requests:
    9. Make capacity points more attractive for grinding (meaning, make us want to party up for them). Merit points are freer than oxygen, so players with all jobs at 99 have nothing to grind outside of monstrosity. And if we're playing FFXI, we all kind of have a fondness for grinding points for growth.

    Auction requests:
    10. Create a new category for chocobo items. Ain't no one going to check Weapons for gysahl greens unless they've been tipped off.

    11. Separate marksmanship and archery ammo.

    Merit point requests:
    12. Allow us to fully cap more categories. I LOVE what you did with HP/MP. Now spread the love please.

Edit: sorry, I didn't realize a thread like this already exists. But these are the things I'd like to see.

    Great suggestions!

I'd like to add for Monstrosity:
    - Let us enter all (or more of) the RoE Conflict areas
    - More species please!

Or at least, please make them all the same!!!!

Generally, the default of no is the bottom option, so you press up once then enter, without having to look or think.

Since the update to add gil to OP warps, that has gone to up twice now, which is annoying.

And for some reason when using the runic portals in Aht Urhgan, you have to go DOWN to reach yes.

    €°(((><

    Cool ideas.

Not much I can think of to add to those (though I probably do have ideas), but as for these 'quality of life threads' I've been seeing around...

I personally dislike how things are being clumped into single threads around here.

Having dedicated threads for issues (or whatever) makes them more visible, and more easy to find with (or so I maybe think; this very thread might prove that point in ways).

Wading through hundreds of posts just to see if something has been discussed within a thread is very much not preferred, in my opinion (although yes, search does actually search those posts as well, or at least it should, but I have noticed some cases where it doesn't).

If I was a community representative here, I'd definitely prefer dedicated threads, just as I do as a regular user. Good thing I'm just a user! ^^

That's just my view of things, and that is, as I do believe they say, that.
