Crafting NPCs

Quick idea for all the lowbies that need gear but no one is crafting it:

NPC in each guild that you can bring the mats to and he'll make it for you.

The trade off could be that you can only do it once every in game day (or RL day if needed), no RA/EX stuff, charge a fee based on item level, and maybe even double the mats required. Any combination of these I think would be ok.

And once you're done with the gear you have made you can toss it onto the AH for other ppl to use, or you can use it as a method for a quick buck by having them just make something and putting it on the AH then.

There of course could be more stipulations and gates to keep ppl from abusing it, but I think the ones listed would be a good start.


**Side Note**

The above would be even easier if they added more NPCs that sold basic crafting materials (or had a larger quantity in the Guild Shops), which I've brought up in the "Crafting = Impossible to Gauge" topic.

Please don't do this. If you really want an item, go find a crafter. Many of us spent a long time leveling crafts, and are more than happy to make any piece of gear you want. The reason most gear doesnt get made any more is because demand has fallen so low that it would be unwise to make it without a buyer on hand. But I have yet to meet a crafter who wouldn't craft something on demand if you brought the materials, provided a reasonable fee, and asked respectfully.

Crafting has already taken big hits; it would be a shame to take even more away.
