    Do I need 5/5 Beast Affinity Merits anymore? Can someone clarify?

    When does Beast Affinity even activate if my main hand axe is iLvl 119?

    when using a jug that caps below level cap. I'd keep them anyway, SE has a habit of treating bst and our jugs with the nerf bat, every little bit helps. of course, I'm back to charming outside battlefields, the pets are a lot stronger, although you sacrifice control on Sic. and they are still very useful on older jugs, like if you want a TH pet for farming or whatnot since I don't think we have a 119 thf jug.

    iirc, if you use the new hq jugs exclusively you can dump the merits. They cap at 119 without gloves or merits (According to SE). Personally, I would hold on to them.
