When inventory is 77/80 it will not allow any more items into main inventory bag

Party or Solo: Party with 6 total members
    NPC Name: N/A
    Monster Name: Dismemberment Brigade II
    Steps:
    1. After completions of Dismemberment Brigade II the loot pool had about 8 items not including the 2 pages I received from the win of the instance fight.
    2. My inventory had 6 available items 74/80 prior to lotting and receiving the items from the pool
    3. As items began to fill up I noticed that Rem Page Chapter 5 were lost and I looked immediately to see if my inventory was full and noticed it to be 77/80. In total i lost 2 pages out of 4.
    4. I moved my items around finished lotting and recieving the items I did not loose.
    5. Ever since this incident i have paid close attention and noticed that whenever my bag inventory space hits 77/80 it will not let me obtain any more items.
    6. I notified GM's and they directed me here to explain / resolve the issue

This isn't all that uncommon when you're close to cap on your inventory. Watch your inventory sometime when a lot of loot is coming in, and you'll see that the game actually takes a second to auto sort it into stacks. Almost surely what happened was...

    You lotted the drops
Drops began to fill the slots as the last person to pass began passing
Your lots and their passes eventually filled you, before your inventory auto sorted the pages and such into stacks

It's more common when a loot pool distributes after it's time limit has expired, as all of the items are dropping at the same time.

The only fixes I can imagine is to add a short term buffer to inventory space, to allow stacks and such to sort out, or to make it so items auto sort on entry, rather than enter inventory > take up an extra space > sort. Outside of that, just make sure you've got enough space for each individual item that drops prior to loting them.
