Improve Blue Mage testimony drop rate?

I am unaware of how many BLU's have attempted/won/lost the Maat equivalent fight. From what I read though on the BLU mage forums the test drop rate is horrible even with THF. Could this be adjusted please? Myself and others might be inclined to give it a shot someday. Thanks!

It is really bad... I kinda wanna get another test and fight him again at 90 just for fun, but farming that test suuuuucks. I was helping a new player get it recently and it took a few hours for it to drop. That's just not right. Admittedly, we didn't have any TH, but even so, would NOT have had that problem with any of the pre-ToAU jobs.

I also noted that the test only drops from one mob, Mamool Ja Mimicker, 4 spawns (5 minute respawn) In Wajaom, or same mob in Mamook with a 15 minute respawn. COR and PUP have 2 different mobs to obtain their tests from, and I know COR test drops easily from Lamian Fatedealers. I am sure BLU, COR, PUP, DNC and SCH aren't the way most people do G5, but like you said, would be nice to try these for fun, especially at 90, and it looks like test drops for the others are higher than for BLU.

As far as I'm concerned, I like it the way it is. If you wanna be a BLU, you damn well earn your right for it. Nothing says your dedication for this job, then to spend tireless hours camping this Testimony. Granted I'm a BLU old timer and I don't want to see these new fledgeling post-battery charge BLU's get it easy, but I'm tired of seeing people just burn it through abyssea and feel that they are some top notch BLU, even with their +2 armor. BLU still has a way of weeding out the from the abyssea burned from the weak and from the weak from the strong. From its level caps required to learn spells, and its testimonies that push every fight to be as thought it were your last fight. To try your best so that you don't have to farm it again, and if you have to, to do it with fierce dedication. I earned my Master of Ambition, its about time the rest of these post-battery charge BLUs do the same.

First spells now this. Testy drop rate sux, but that adds to the element of BLU, its what makes us unique.
