Mooblin Battle 3k points

Well ok through much trial and error (mostly due to targeting and where to stand, stupid bunnies) I found red mage/ summoner nets a win also, just 1 stone 1 cure with a melon pie or something to up your intelligence while carbuncle lovetaps until you get the 100% bonus then spam stone until the end and you can get just over 3k.

And you get a moogle bag, a goblin bag and aldo. Wooops guess nothing after you get it once? Any1 check?

*sigh* yeah I really think we need more time for this event, something just doesn't seem to be right.

It's not that hard. I've actually managed 3k points as a blm just standing out of range spamming nukes.

Just for fun to get the record I went as blm/whm and tried to get bonuses and such one the first round and managed to get 14k... sadly the last maintenance erased the records. The key is adjusting your int so that one of your nukes works out to an multiple of what your cures do so you can garunteedly get the twin bonus and then count your melee dmg to get it as close to those as possible then just nuke away after the first round

Yeah I was doing exactly that but now...it just isn't working, not even with mah tarutaru if I had more time I'd maybe keep trying but since I think they've been fiddling with it I'm just going to bypass. It really isn't worth the aggravation.

Blah, I'm wondering if you aren't quite understanding the easiest method of getting 3k wins. BLM/WHM I find it rather easy to get over 3k. The key is balancing damage in the first two rounds.

Round 1. Do a single cure (hopefully for 14 healed). Do a single stone (again, does 14 dmg if you're lucky). Melee as close to 14 dmg as possible.


Round 2. Do a single cure and a single stone again. These should be the same amount of damage dealt and cured. Do nothing else this round.

Round 3-5. Spam water until the event is over.

The key is setting up those first two rounds with matching numbers so in the end, your basic water spells are doing over 100 dmg each casting. I've done the above on 2 characters (mithra and elvaan) using nothing other than the moogle/goblin suit and wearing the lvl 1 nation rings. No food or anything.

Ah yeah I do understand what I am saying is the numbers aren't right, specifically before Thursday all I had to do was get 100% in the 1st round and with red mage summoner stone would hit for over 50 (with melon pie) and my tarutaru could even do it without a pie. Now I don't know but it won't get to 50 until after the second round. Ele and healing capped went to diff city and everything, like I said maybe if there was more time I'd try to figure it out but bump aldo I got my goblin.
Oh and with it capped my cure and stone (even though it says they are both 16) it would almost never be even, when I got it to 20/21 wouldn't give to me kept messing with me nothing like what was happening b4 Thursday which again, if you see the earlier post was simply because my position was off and other animals kept getting in the way. Anyway it isn't that big a deal.
And if you really got it to 300% in the first round it should be water or stone until the end no other tactics necessary.

I hope they give another opportunity to get Aldo. I didn't realize time was up till last night and I was too tired to do it.

Vary your stats to make the cures and nuke dmg even for a round. It's pretty easy with a few pieces of int gear
