Why should NI be the only content that isn't soloable in making a mythic? Every other aspect is easily solo'd by this point - even the 30k alexandrites. There are a couple assaults that are tricky, but at least you know what you're getting into and can recruit someone for it ahead of time. In NI, you have no way of knowing if your next run will have a 5-order lamp floor or not, so you'd have to bring an extra body with you every time, and likely be bored out of your mind because there is zero challenge in the battles.
NI -should- be solo'able by now, it also locks out people from being able to get NI weaponskills even if they don't want a mythic. I'd love to get mystic boon for my whitemage, but I'm not going to get 30,000 ws points to do it because the RNG likes to give me 5-order lamp floors every time I try.
And I'm not paying for another copy of the game, another 12.95 fee every month, in addition to starting a completely from scratch character, doing all of the fame/limit breaks/missions all over again (easily a few hundred hours) just to do this one stupid aspect of the game. No other MMO would require the player to make a 2nd character just to do content that is completely trivial in every other aspect.
If you keep going back lots of times you will get code lamp loading instead of the same-time or order lamps. It does suck, but its soloable if you throw enough tags at it. I totally agree with Predatory in this thread, since the assault is now solo-entry there should not be any content (f.ex lamps) in that assault that is not soloable. See also Orichalcum Survey, lol. Why make them solo-entry if they are physically impossible to solo like Ori Survey, or extremely luck-based to solo (like the lamps).
