Massive disparity in music volume between certain field BGM and all battle BGM

Is it possible to allow players to adjust battle music volume seperately from field music volume in the near future? Many, many, MANY field BGM songs in FFXI are way too freaking quiet. Examples:
    1. Ronfaure
    2. Promyvion
    3. Abyssea
    4. All 3 areas in Al'Tiaeu
    5. All 4 Salvage areas
    6. Nyzul Isle
    7. Caedarva Mire
    8. Bhaflau / Wajaom
    9. Arrapago Reef

At the same time, EVERY battle theme is way too freaking loud. The worst offender is probably the Abyssea battle theme.

So, I have a few proposed solutions / requests.
    1. Allow players to adjust Field Music and Battle Music volume separately. This would be GREAT. It'd still cause issues with the fact that nearly all city music volume is just right, so if you pump it up so you can actually hear Ronfaure's song, when you enter San d'Oria it will be too loud.
    2. Allow players to totally disable battle music, so that it would be like FFXII, where field music plays all the time.
    3. From the server side (or technically, I think it'd just be the software, but I mean without user config), raise the volume of the Field BGM, but not battle BGM, in all non-city areas. This would be the worst option, but it would still be very nice.
    4. From the server side, lower the volume of all Battle BGM.

Especially if cut scene music is counted as battle music. When you walk into a cut scene and realize you've had the field music muted (because after so many years, it can be too much sometimes), it is a mild inconvenience.

Pretty sure it's just a combination of recording volume and the fact that battle themes are generally more intense and therefore recorded at a higher overall volume. seperate volume controls wouldn't be a bad thing, of course. But even FFXIV with its bajillion config options doesn't have seperate volume controls for field and battle music (just an observation that may or may not have any relevance)
