Well to be fair I dont see where it says it will hold only equipment. It is a really good guess on our part tho, but that is one of the reasons i made this thread. If somewhere it does say only equip please show me where, I would appreciate it.

Equipment-specific storage
After the May version update we will be adding a specialized inventory bag that is meant specifically for the storage of equipment allowing you direct use of the equipment placed inside.

It's pretty much only going to allow armor or weapons to be stored in it, probably anything that can be equipped to an Equipment square (Even ammo? That would be neat.) It reminds me a lot of XIV's Armoury System, with its equipment-only restriction and swapping on the fly. Granted, its not as convenient as another 80-slot bag, but just think how much space your Gobbiebag or other slots will free up now! I'm looking forward to freeing up 78 slots in my current Mog Locker, personally.
