New player- Can't play with friends until May due to server merges?!

I don't understand why you'd start over (referring to option A). The only thing that's going to happen when server merges is LS's will change colors and have to reform and there's going to be more people to talk to/party with/argue with/attempt to abduct/kidnap for ransom/use to build your own personal harem/use to build your own mafia. I create option C for you. Play now, have fun on a server that will be merged, find a GOOD linkshell, and then have more fun when the server is merged.

I wouldn't mind if it was that way, but neither the destination servers or the servers that will be merged with the destination servers have character creation enabled. =/
