PS2 says "No."
They said they wouldn't because it'd allow people to glitch the game to do endless loops. IE

I remember the famous "ps2 limitation" being throw around for the lack of inventory space, now look how many more space we got since the first time that famous line was thrown around. we also heard "ps2 limitation for the 7 Ah slot, and yesterday there was a message saying the devs where working on that, so i think i doesn t hurt to let the devs knows more macro line (without using 3rd party tools) would be a welcome improvement.

Well we still lack space, the PS2 will not allow inventory to go past double digits, so 100+ wouldn't work. Giving us more locations "Sack, Satchel" etc doesn't help too much as you can not use the equipment in them unless you move it to your inventory which is impossible mid battle for jobs that need multiple sets IE. RDM.
