Any monster capable of inflicting a status effect that can defeat the avatar. This includes damage over time effects, such as Bio or Rasp, and delayed death effects such as Doom

Steps:
In any combat situation – in the field, within dungeons or missions, etc. The use of macros or manual methods does not influence the issue. There is an error message stating that the avatar is already summoned when it is not.

1. Have an avatar engage in combat with, or be in the proximity of, a monster that is able to use damage over time effects or Doom.
2. Wait for the Avatar to be defeated by one of these two types of effect (i.e. not via direct damage).
3. The avatar cannot be immediately resummoned, even though it is not present, for approximately 5 seconds. The error message “Jeral already has a pet.“ is displayed, though this is false.
4. This makes defeating powerful monsters that Summoners are otherwise perfectly capable of engaging in combat much more difficult, particularly within confined spaces, and reduces the effectiveness of Summoners who are participating in group activities.
