    They didn't stop the in-game time DX

    They suspended the service but didn't stop the in-game time DX
    I spent more than a month caring about my chocobo everyday to make him a good chocobo. Now I come back with my chocobo all messed up and run away. I am so sad /cry
    Why didn't anyone in SE thinking about stopping the in-game time when the servers are down?

    The fact that all my grass are now withered is nothing compared to my poor chocobo...

    I can understand how frustrating it is. Raising a chocobo can take a long time and one mistake can mean you have to start over. Considering what's happened and is on going in Japan we're lucky that the servers still exist. When the disaster happened the servers could have been destroyed.

    I suggest you format your harddrive and then reinstall ffxi then delete your character then reformat your harddrive then reinstall ffxi then level up from 1 then get your choco licence then you can start raising your choco.

    I know how you feel, i was in the middle of raising a chocobo for my mule too, since i make 50k gil a day with my main chocobo. Now it's kinda weak.

    However a runaway chocobo will come back home.

    A few cupid worms will make it love you at max again, and as long as you teach it the abilities you want before retirement, you can buy items that raise it's stats even after retirement.

    There might be hope?

    my chocobo used to win me 50k a day regularly but ever since chocobuck rewards were increased I seem to place 2nd most of the time.
