First off, my problem is a Destrier Beret not being able to be delivered. I know you get them from Festive Moogles after you redeem the code on the website. I tried to do this after buying the game and it only gave me the option of selecting my alternate character and not my main. My main is the only character I wanted to give it to. But thinking maybe I could mail it to my main I gave it to my alt. Now I don't have a beret. I have purchased two FFXI games that came with the code and now only have one beret and its on a character I don't want to level.
SO Earlier today I used the Customer Support options on Square Enix's website and doing a live chat with someone was told to open a ticket in-game to talk to a GM about my issue. I did and was informed by [GM]Hylphetien that because of the way the Destrier Beret works I cannot receive it from him and should give feedback on my experience and how I want things changed so others in the future don't have my problem. He directed me to http://www.playonline.com/polapps/s/fansite2.lnk.Top?polg_loc=en. I don't understand how that helps at all.I just want my beret. I have paid for two codes and only have one beret, but on a character who won't ever use it. He's my mule.
I have no idea what I am supposed to do or where I am supposed to go to resolve this issue. Sop I am posting here. Please, someone help.
