Hello dear developers and community representatives.
The Trust stuff is cool, really. I use it pretty often these days. However, I also have an adventuring fellow that I have spent quite a bit of time and energy on, probably several hundred times more than I have spent on getting all the Trust NPCs.
I really hope you are not going to forget about our adventuring fellows after you started with the trust stuff, not after all the time many of us have spent on leveling them and all the quests associated with them.
As it stands, the fellow NPCs have some big issues when compared to Trust NPCs.
Firstly, their damage was terrible even before SoA and the item levels we've gotten since then, and is comparably even worse now.
Second, Fellow NPCs do not gain nearly as much refresh as the caster-type Trust NPCs.
Third, they have a much more limited active time than Trust NPCs, and can only be called once per day plus 4 times per week, and only stay out for a limited amount of time, and cannot easily be respawned if they are killed.
All this, combined with the time associated with building our adventuring fellows, makes it pretty obvious to me that they need a pretty solid boost, and I have a few ideas:
First, after leveling the NPCs to 99, allow us to trade them iLv-weapons to boost their levels. They would still be level capped when summoned below lv99, of course, just like Trust NPCs.
Second, when assuming a healer role, they need some significant amount of refresh.
Third, let us "quest" any of the "special" WSes we are in possession of to the fellow NPC. This could give them something special that you can't get through thrust. I know I would love to let my fellow use Fudo.
Without any sort of adjustments, we might as well just throw away our signal pearls at this point and never use them again in our entire lives.
