It would be best if you created your own topic about your issue, instead of riding on someone else's (also called thread hi-jacking). ^^

That way you'll be more likely to receive support for your specific issue, and others battling with the same will find it easier, probably.


I didn't really look into the issue, but the first thing that comes in mind is if you're using Windows 8? It may be that you need to manually install that component via the Optional Components UI, where ever that may dwell within that operating system.

If and when you create your own thread, please, do include more information as well. That is, at the very least the operating system you are using.


As for the PlayOnline error 0011, it would seem like a connection related error usually, and often a temporary one. One could try meddling with their router settings, if one knows what they're doing. It might not do any good whether they know or not, however, if it's what I think it is.

Resetting router/modem may be worth a try, but I'm thinking it's not a client-side issue, but more like one on the way to the server(s). That is as long as their content ID(s) is/are in good standing and all that. ^^
