When equipping the Patriarch Cane item, the Summoning Magic skill bonus does not show up in the magic skills menu or have an effect on Elemental Siphon.

Steps:

1. I equipped a Patriarch Cane in my main weapon slot. With this item on, my skill is 478.

2. I equipped an Eminent Pole with a Vox grip. My Summoning Magic skill rises to 481 despite the Patriarch Cane having a higher Summoning Magic skill value than the grip.

3. I burned some MP and used Elemental Siphon with a Water Spirit on Earthsday for 453 MP with the Patriarch Cane.

4. After waiting 5 minutes, I equipped my Vox grip with my Eminent Pole and used Elemental Siphon with an Earth Spirit on Watersday for 456 MP, proving that the Patriarch Cane does not give any Summoning Magic skill despite displaying a +5 value.
