    Why do you hate players having more choices?

    RUN is a perfect example. They specialize in Great Sword and can't access any REMs, can't unlock Empyrean WS, and have to use inferior options.

    I know your say Relics were designed before BLU/COR/PUP/SCH/DNC/RUN/GEO came out and wouldn't be "balanced", but there's no real "balance" issue there at all. The game isn't going to implode upon itself into a singularity of failure if RUN gets put on Ragnarok, PUP on Spharai, or GEO on Claustrum.

    RUN is held back by a lack or REM weapons, it can't get as much use out of Swords because almost all Sword WSes are garbage outside of Requiescat for special defense, and it can't unlock CDC.

    Why do so many jobs have Archery and Marksmanship skill, but only one job gets native access to weapon skills for those weapons? No other weapons are like that, and I don't think opening all but a few WSes up to jobs meeting the skill requirements would be too damaging to anything. Samurais were pretty good at archery and SAM in game is on the relic bow, and are able to use Namas Arrow, but those mouth breathers can't even figure out how to use Flaming Arrow.

    Can we get some more jobs on Arrows higher than ilvl 107?

    More weapons other than a job's "main" weapon types would be nice, utility isn't a bad thing.

    That's just a few examples of what I'm talking about. I like that the game is moving back towards more lateral progression, making more content relevant, and adding purpose to outdated events by using upgrades. I just have a problem with a few long standing issues that stand in the way of flexibility, utility, and common sense and are especially more poignant now that we're in an era of low man events, where said flexibility would be more beneficial than before.

    That or it's coming with future updates, like Merits, Artifact, Relic, and Empyrean Armors, Job Emotes, and so on...

    They said something along the lines of Mythic-class weapons, so there could be a set of ultimate weapons that SE releases later for this expansion.

    This isn't just about RUN but yeah, I'm aware comparable, i.e. Delve GS, weapons will be made available to new jobs when they come out, but it sucks that they're still refusing to simply add new jobs to old weapons because they think it'll somehow overpower BLU to get Knights of the Round.

    It's dumb and it really should change. The dev team has been doing a wonderful job lately and I hope they come around and make some changes to the things I mentioned.

    Does anyone else have something to list?

    It's because we're not allowed nice things. SE knows we like to abuse things. Meanwhile I wouldn't mind knowing if they have given up on the only needing 1-2 sets of armor to do everything in instead of giving us more inventory idea they gave us a while back. I'm fine with making new stuff to drop from any new Naakuals because if they didn't drop something no one would want to go and kill them. I just want to know when will we be getting no more new sets or reforges of old sets so it doesn't feel like we're a bunch of parents waiting in line at wtf o'clock for the store with the hottest Christmas toy to open up just to find out they don't have the exact model our kid wants.

    They aren't getting their own mythics...
    They're getting "mythic equivalent weapons"...

    In other words, just like their fake relic armor.

    It's gonna be disgusting how easy they'll be to get by comparison to real mythics. (no full expansion with 8million arbitrary 24hr waits spread throughout the mission line, no 100% assault x2 demand, no title and questline demand (captain rank), no days-months-weeks of camping a NM that refuses to pop in a reasonable timeframe... x3... no 30k BS item grab... no 100k extra currency farm... no Odin... no Salvage mega boss win demand... no 150k other extra currency need... Pretty sure I covered all of it.... and that's just for the base 75 version.... THEN you need all the magian trials from 75-99 AND 300 beitetsus.... You KNOW RUN and GEO's are gonna be 119 off the bat... and you KNOW they're not going to need.... even 1/10th this amount of work.)

    RUN and GEO are getting BS special treatment... and even though I fully benefit from it... I don't like it.
    Because I'd rather be treated equal and fairly... rather than receive special treatment and have all the best shinnies handed to me for virtually free.
    (dear GOD is the RUN and GEO fake-relics pisseasy to get compared to the 109 reforge of the real relics... you don't even need all the materials for them!)

    The 109 gear was all pretty easy to get. You can duo the SKNMs with a PLD buddy for the pages or just BLM burn sparks, and one dyna run with an ilvl DD can yield ~600 coins.

    That said I thought their REM equivalent would would just be the delve weapons, so no mythic WS, no potentially good job specific boosts, and no real effort. Like the 119 delve GS coming out with the Delve Hurkan.

    Uh... with regard to RUN mythic equivalent, wouldn't you rather the job gets fixed before spending (probably) a lot of time to get that weapon? I'm personally A-OK with not having these items available yet because SE is actually doing a pretty good job refining and tweaking the jobs as they see how they actually get used in content (or not at all as a main for rune fencer yet).

    I'm actually a little surprised to see people complaining about having too few gear choices. There's a pretty good selection for iLvl 109+ with varying degrees of difficulty to obtain. The new AF+1 (generally) seems to be good default slot, with some of the new relic being useful for macros. The gear from the new BCs, skirmish, delve weapons etc tend to be a little more general purpose, and (amazingly) we can already store most of the reforged gear with the new slips.

    I have to disagree with the overall tone of this thread entirely, over the past few months SE is really delivering on this game like I haven't seen in a while. And before someone (probably) calls me out on it, I like using parenthesis today :P
