Can anyone explain this to me please

I would like to know if anyone can tell me how much time a user must wait before ether shouting or yelling again, before it is classed as spam.I know at one time a gm told me 30 sec-1min but seeing as that was when there were so many people shouting in a zone at one time i was wondering if it changed or is still the same now.

I am trying to sell something on my server and just want to make sure i understand the rules about yelling and how much time i need to wait between each try to sell the item in question.

I did not think this fit on any other forum on this site so i put it here to be safe sorry if someone feels it can go to a better home,i was very confused about where this would fit.

As far as I am aware, there is no such rule that you should be worried of (it would be quite the bothersome rule to enforce by the Gamemasters, and too much to count on players to abide, so it's usually done by the game/server itself).

That being said, the /yell command has a delay of 60 seconds upon it, but I can't remember at this time if the /shout command has a similar limit. It's easy enough for players to get rid of the messages if they are bothered by them, so there really is no need to enforce it further, methinks.

Using common sense is usually more than plenty enough.

In the end, this is just my opinion, and how I view these things. There is no written rule (as far as I know) specifically asking a player to wait for a time to shout again.

    I hope this helps!

    Good luck~
