I've said what I wanted to say. I'm done talking to someone who's stuck in his own little world.

ps nobody every said anything about dramatic effect. You made that up on your own and honed it on it. All I said about your posts is that you're a condescending prck. Good day.

Like I said, I'm sorry I offended you. All I'll say from here is I'm on the spectrum and I think about things in a different way from most people. I may be a lot of things but I"m not here for drama. If you can't accept that I'm just here giving my true honest opinions coming from my analytical nature then my advice would be to ignore list me. Because I'm not here to offend anyone, I'm not trying to be rude (though it does occasionally happen), I just care a lot about a game that's taken up 20 years of my life. Is that really so wrong?

ellipses added for extra condescending effect.
Ok it was "condecending" not "dramatic." Not really that far off though. Still, implication of some deliberate intention or something that simply does not exist, barring one specific example.

You know, I've never really given it much thought before, but the system message when maintenance coming up isn't especially helpful. If you happen to be in one of the three special time zones it names that might be fine I guess, but anywhere else you have to do the math to figure out where you are relative to those time zones, remember whether they're on daylight savings, whether you are, how that compares... it's putting more work on the user than strictly necessary.

Saying "In two hours...", "In one hour...", "In 30 minutes...", "In 15 minutes...", "In 5 minutes..." would be more immediately informative to users and more indicative of the urgency of the message.

It also says "we are now beginning the maintenance" three minutes before it actually happens.

While I'm used to their use of these time zones because they always have used them, I'd certainly agree that giving the time remaining instead is more useful.

Please make the A.M.A.N. trove event less frustrating. Here are some ideas:

    - provide a hint with each successful opening of a chest, like "you have a feeling that the mimic is in the eastern part of the arena".

    - give capacity points for each successful opening of a chest, increasing with the number of chests already opened. Characters that are mastered receive exemplar points instead.

    - create an HQ2 orb type (say for 30 silver vouchers) that guarantees a rainbow chest.

    - upon trading a spent orb, the NPC Greyson always provides either a silver voucher or (rarely, as is the case now) a fresh orb, plus a modest amounts of capacity or exemplar points.

    - to characters on mastered jobs, completion of a Peculiar Foes ROE objective provides 30,000 exemplar points instead of capacity points, and A.M.A.N trove ROE objectives provide 5000 exemplar points instead of capacity points.

Please consider removing the initial 2 hour cap when first entering Abyssea and using traverser stones for the visitant status.

Also, please add an actual icon for visitant status with it's respective "time left" similar to Signet and the likes. Assuming the time extensions (blue chests) don't complicate it needlessly.

This is literally just a game of russian roulette. It is deisgned entirely as a game of chance, frankly there are already enough accomodations made.

The prizes available justify the level of risk/reward (honestly, the only risk is to your vouchers but w/e).

A timer isn't displayed for the buff because the buff isn't what actually controls whether or not you stay in the zone. It's more like the time limits of battlefields or other content. If the setup process didn't take place inside the zone, the buff icon wouldn't be necessary. Once applied, the buff is permanent- you simply get kicked out when the time limit reaches 0, like dynamis or other content. You talk about it being complicated but its honestly pretty simple. THings like the level restriction status and other non-expiring statuses are the same. They are simply applied by a script and removed by a script, not by a timer.

Your time remaining is shown any time you get a time extension and multiple warnings are issued when it's running out.

Please consider add a timer for Assault missions. It's sometimes annoying to keep track of time remaining especially in Nyzul. This seems to be one of the only timed instances still remaining that still has no timer for convenience.

I was wondering when you would knock one of my suggestions down.

Assuming you are correct, Abyssea should not be treated as battlefield content then and I myself have never viewed it as such let alone compared or likened it to Dynamis or similar set ups. Let's not forget that you could, in theory, stay in Abyssea for arguably a full month (at risk to personal health I'm sure...).

As for the complications, I didn't say it was complicated, but merely pointed out that if a buff similar to Signet existed, that time extensions obviously would need to be considered.

Also, while things like "You have 15 minutes left" showing up in the chat log works for those who are able to monitor it, I am not one of those people. I'm mostly focused on getting to where I'm getting to and killing what I'm trying to kill. I will miss those messages from time to time just like Dynamis and so on. And yes, I'm aware of chat filters but the "buff" is more natural for me to pay attention to since I'm typically checking on buffs and such anyway (not using certain programs).

That all said, I made a suggestion (two in one this time). With that suggestion, I had no requirement or any expectations of a response. If my suggestion happens, great. If not, no one needs to explain why as the game is not broken because of it.

Let's add Abyssea to that timer list if a buff can't or won't be done. Likely a better idea than the buff one I had.

I really like the idea of a visible timer on-screen while you're in Abyssea. Yes, yes, you can sit down and get that information, but you know what's better? Not having to do that. Sometimes you want to actually use that time you're in Abyssea; sometimes you don't want to wake up the voidwalker in the area; sometimes you're getting attacked and really just need to know whether you need to stand and fight or put on your warp ring. More seamless access to information makes a better player experience.
