Because taking mp from you still works even if they have none to replenish.
I seem to remember everything builds off the job system, so when they buffed certain jobs the monsters that shared that job were also buffed.
So yeah you're correct I guess, it would make playing mage jobs more fun though if they all had mp pools in some way.
Add a timeout to talking to any npc, unless progress is being made. At the very least add it to home points and goblin box since these are the most common culprits.
It's so annoying if you get a little lag when you talk to an npc and get stuck, unable to exit the conversation or progress. The only way around this is to crash the game and log back in.
What would be the purpose of this? If you're lagging out, you get nothing out of being able to move around because you'll still be at your orginal position when you come back. You're frozen because the game is trying to communicate with the server and isn't receiving a response.
Multiple Moglifications should be able to be active at once. Expecting someone to alter their entire house every time they want exp+ or crafting+ or event+ is silly. It's not such a big deal that anything becomes imbalanced by allowing 2 or 3 active at a time.
Allowing multiple to be visible but only 1 active via menu toggle while in the moghouse would be an acceptable compromise. Having to alter the layout completely is really unreasonable.

I see somebody's been buying prismatic chests this month.
I bet this is one of those "we just can't change it due to how the system was originally designed" problems though. Maybe it would be a more viable workaround to implement some kind of augment system for furniture, where you can have one piece of your choice gain, like, thirty aura strength so it powers through everything else regardless of layout?
I think it would be reasonable to have a menu where you can pick one out of all of the moghancements provided by your furnishings. Having to put crap in your house just to get enough of a certain element (especially when there isn't really much rhyme or reason to which effects are which elements in the first place) is needlessly complex. I can understand only having one effect at a time but changing it shouldn't be a massive hassle.
