    question

    just wondering if i could make a 2nd excaliber and duel wield them, as the moogles(for example) have no issue with giving u the same weapon.

    So far as I know, you can't, even if you could there are two things to point out, firstly, Mandau is the superior off-hand for Excalibur anyways, its the best one there is overall so just do that if you want Dual Relics. Secondly even if you could do Dual Excaliburs, you would not be able to get both to 119 most likely due to the fact they are R/EX, so the level gap is probably the only reason it would probably work.

    You cannot have 2 of the same items, named "Excalibur" regardless of their levels.

    It is entirely possibly to (start) building another one, but it would be forever stuck on stage 4, there was even a screen shot from 7~? years ago of a 75Mandau/Batardeau Thf.
