farm salvage. it would be a change of pace and give you excess to more gear.

farm matamata. not really hard to do with a mnk or 2. although i dont see this as practical answer because emp and mythic currencies are rare so the need for them are low. which mean they would want to split plutons with you.

get better friends, server, contracts? or if you are contracting ppl, what are you holding them to? i dont see why anyone would not want to do adl. he is so easy nowadays and 5m a marrow on my server for 3 hours of work is nice.

I didn't have to involve a single other person for the 5 Umbral Marrows for my Spharai. They're not Ex, so I just bought them. Farming gil is a task you can solo with ease.

Umbral Marrows have actually been decreasing in price since the trials were released. They're down to 7 million from a high of 11 million.

Sorry, in the iLvl 119 era, ADL is extremely easy for six people. As others have pointed out, marrows are a fraction of the value they once were. There's noneed to further nerf marrow obtainabity. (This is coming from someone with a level 95 relic)

If you can, ask around, try to find a linkshell that farms ADL, see if you can join, just use some of your payout from ADL runs and such that you make money off of to buy them from the LS, some may even give you discounts since you're in the LS and actually helped to farm them in the first place. Thats how I got my marrows for Excalibur, I joined a Linkshell that does ADL 4 nights a week and used my money from 2 weeks of runs to buy my marrows.

Nah, playtime shouldn't be just dedicated to farming gil. It should be a time to enjoy the game with other people. There should be another alternative to farming marrows. Maybe make it part of RoE using vouchers. Maybe 40 vouchers gets you a marrow. It could be soloed but something that cannot be done in a week unlike farming ADL with a group would. If people choose to buy all their stuff either from bazaar or from mercs, that's up to them, but not many want to do that. Also, if you all you do is just farm gil in this game, it might be time to move on to something else.

So farming marrows is any different than farming vouchers, or farming items to sell for gil? You're doing things to get drops either way. I don't see an effective difference in what you choose to farm, toher than how much gil you get back for your time farming.

Who says that farming gil can't be done with others/your friends? AA's are a good example. We XP together, farm up 5 pops and 30 merits, and go fight the AA's for plutons to sell. All of this is done socially.
