Some time ago I made a thread suggesting an idea for a FFXI based Bullet hell STG. Well ive done some rethinking on that idea and I'd like to share with what Ive thought up.
The Style of game: It would be a Vertical Scrolling Bullet hell/Danmaku Shoot em up game done in the style of DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou. The Player will go through Six Stages, Five of them going through various locales of a futuristic Vana'diel, each stage having a midboss and a Stage Boss. Stage 6 will be different as it will have FOUR Mid bosses and a Stage boss.
Locales: This is what I've thought up for locations for each of the stages. Youll probably get an idea of what porion of FFXI this game will be based on.
Stage 1: Bastok
Stage 2: San D'oria
Stage 3: Windurst
Stage 4: Jeuno
Stage 5: The Sanctuary of Zitah going through Ro'maeve
FINAL STAGE: Ru'Aun Gardens going through Ve'Lugannon Palace
Stage Bosses: While I haven't thought up my Mid Bosses yet, I have an idea for Stage bosses.
Stage 1: Ark Angel HM
Stage 2: Ark Angel EV
Stage 3: Ark Angel MR
Stage 4: Ark Angel GK
Stage 5: Ark Angel TT
Final Stage: E'aldnarche
TLB: Either A more pissed off Ealdnarche, ala Mushihimesama Futari's Spiritual Larsa or a Hibachi Cameo ( Done in the style of DoDonPachi Resurrection )

TYPE-A WARRIOR CRAFT: High powered Straight forward/concentrated Main Shot w/ Two "axe" options, one on each side that fire off thin small streams of gunfire during main shot. For the Laser shot, the Axes combine and position themselves in front of the ship to fire off a concentrated Laser beam. Color of the shot will be Red
