Could we just have a Moogle in the area; Walk of Echoes that sells the "Key-item"; Kupofried's Medallion(s), so we can stop with this redundant time-sink that you're having us jump to and from areas, Please and Thank you!

While I very much agree with you, I think they have it how they do for the sake of Temp items. Right now, we have to zone, you can buy the item in WoE actually, but only from the same place as you can enter Provenance, which means even if you buy it, you have to zone before you can buy another one after doing a Flux. So basically, I think they do it so we are forced to wipe our Temp items rather than continuously stacking up more and more.
If that's the case. "Which I do agree it probably is", Couldn't they just work the cap of TIs like they do w/in Abyssea, @DevTeam; I mean letting us keep those Temp Items isn't going to make or break Walk of Echoes. #FinalFantasyXI$4.99/moSo basically, I think they do it so we are forced to wipe our Temp items rather than continuously stacking up more and more.
Edit; Come to think about it, once we zone out of a Flux we lose all our Temp items...

We do? I thought you kept them, if you lose them then yeah no real point, this should definitely be changed! XD
I think this is a nice to have but definitely wouldn't call this 'time sink'. It's not like they make you have to go all the way back to nation [s] and then come back. You're looking at most a min wait-turn around time to exit and then re-enter.
Yea i dunno loading into a zone (twice) is kinda annoying. But you are right at least we dont have to run to town or anything. I did woe not long ago and i thot they had made it so you didnt have to zone already and was kinda disappointed. I knew they had made alot of changes since i had done WoE last. I decided I am not gonna work in woe til i get my mule access and im being lazy on that. Playing as a monster is much more fun than doin missions.
Yeah, Krashport is right, they wipe upon you leaving a flux which is why everyone spams any healing ones before leaving. The only thing that isn't wiped by you zoning is buffs you had like Body/Mana Boost but they don't last long enough to really be considered imbalanced in the slightest.
I liked the OP, this is pretty annoying to me and it's more of a "quality of life" upgrade. Yeah we don't have to run far but nothing is wrong with a quality of life upgrade. We didn't need home point teleports everywhere but it's nice nonetheless. The real question is what does this delay really add? Because changing it isn't really a huge drain on development time. I'd say just forgo adding a NPC entirely and just make it ask for gil when attempting to enter into another flux. It's not like losing this delay is really going to affect anything.
