Eminent Pole pet MAB not working properly

Details:
I do not have the Eminent Pole yet but will probably buy it later today, but it has been reported (and accepted here) that the mab aspect isnt working properly when using it.

Since you close threads after accepting them it is impossible to add information to them afterward so I would like to add that this bug seems to occur specifically when you equip both the Eminent Pole and Hagondes Sabots together. (Other gear may also produce the bug, but i was unsure from the reports I read about them). Trying the pole without the boots equip that feature mab 25 for pet produces results one would expect from using the pole. Someone mentioned it was like having both items equipped was equal to -256 pet mab.

I just wanted to add this into the report if possible. And i have seen this first hand when i informed a summoner trying out the pole and not getting the results he wanted. to which he tried without the boots on and got the expected result.

Steps:
1. Equip Eminent Pole and Hagondes Boots. perform a magical bloodpact like heavenly Strike. Get sub par damage.
2. Remove boots.
3. Giggle in glee when tryin magical bloodpact like heavenly strike to much better numbers.

Thanks for posting this, I was the one who posted the earlier thread and i did have hagondes boots on while using the merit BPs. While this is reassuring that the pole itself works, i still want that matk from the boots!

I think a factor may be magic accuracy. While wearing the Hagondes Sabots, I stuck Heavenly Strike twice in one hour for 6200, otherwise I would miss on even level one monsters for 700 or less. :/

MakkotoParinne, when you took the Sabots off and just used the pole, did you have any problem sticking Heavenly Strike, even on level 1 monsters? Are you saying wearing both the pole and the sabots at same time might affect magic accuracy instead or as well as MAB?

Oh, sorry if that was ambiguous! :O

When using the sabots as well as the pole, I would deal 700 damage to even level 1 monsters, but spiked 6200 damage only once on them, so I think that it may be a large macc penalty instead of magic attack. I didn't think that it could have been the sabots so I have not tested my damage without them.

If it is a magic attack penalty, I'm not certain where the 6200 damage one came from. x_x
