Update getting stuck at 8% on first file?

Hello!

I'm on pc, and I'm unable to download this month’s update. 1 out of 10 tries manages to get me pass the "Preparing update" screen, and when it does it gets stuck at 8% on the very first file, every single time. I'm usually unable to download updates during the first hours, I just assume it’s normal due to the thousands of people trying to download it at the same time. I’m never able to get through the “Preparing update” screen on those occasions, but when I do the update goes smoothly. This time is different thou, and I’m sure is neither my antivirus, nor my firewall the one responsible for this, for they were present in previous updates, and I have already tried downloading without them.There hasn’t been any significant change on my pc since November.
Any help on the matter will be greatly appreciated.

Once again, december 25 update, getting stuck on the patch.txt file. Guess I'll just wait a 3-4 days until everyone else has it downloaded. /sigh
