    Full Screen - Screen Tearing

    So I play ffxi on my laptop, I have 2 nvidia 750m's running sli and when I play ffxi in full screen I get some serious screen tearing effects.

    SLI does not affect the screen tearing at all. I turned it off and tried different frame buffer settings and it still happens.

    Oddly enough when I play the game in window mode the screen tearing goes away but it is repleaced by some stuttering graphics. It happens at random and makes the game not play as smooth as it would in full screen.

    Ive checked my fps in windowed mode and there is no real drop in it so its definitely not the GPU's or anything along those lines.

    Also it's not the network because ive had some trouble with stuttering on a different laptop but that was because of VBOX messing with some network settings.

    Anyway anyone have some ideas on how to fix the full screen tearing or windowed stutter?

    well at the very least does anyone have the same problems as me?

    do you just ingore them if you do?
