I kinda feel bluh about the freebie email code thing.
It's not clear if you pick one item from the whole list... or one from each category... cause... that's kinda a HUGE difference.
And the items that you can pic... They're pretty much just "this is for skillups only" (ridill etc) or just vanity... I mean, even the Hauteclaire has a 109 version atm.
Though Hauteclaire is a bajillion times prettier.
It's now just a vanity item... just like Nightfall...
I think the only pieces from the freebie code that *might* be useful nowadays... are the Nocturnus set pieces.... buuuuut even then... I think there's probably better options atm.

I'd go for nocturnus if only because it's the least likely to be able to even be gotten nowadays. Unless they meant only one of the whole thing and not one of each category they broke it up into. Then it will possibly depend on if the skc being 25 was a typo since iirc the jp version said 50

That's what will either make this an amazing giveaway (1/category) or just.... trollol.
Cause if it's just one out of the whole list...
Probably gonna get Nightfall... because:
1) at 1 regardless of category + SKC exchange table = vanity giveaway
2) Like you said, Nocturnus and Nightfall are nigh impossible to get atm cause of the entry restrictions of the BCNM.
3) I don't like having 1/2 a set of things.
and the most important reason:
4) I'm a size queen and it's a GS. >:3
