This little segment is from the "Dynamis Reborn" thread. If they want to waste the time to fix something stupid and old like Dynamis (for no reason at all), they should be able to implement this same idea to Ballista for those of us who want to play with our friends, but can't because we're out of Ballista points, or lack of participants for the set matches in the main world. If they can adjust something as big as Dynamis with no real idea how it's going to effect people (and it will have a pretty damn big impact), why can't they drop the restrictions for Ballista in the same manner?Adjustments:
Reservations will no longer be required to enter the above areas.
New key items will replace the "Timeless Hourglass" and "Perpetual Hourglass" items needed for entry.
The key items need only be obtained once.
It will be made available at an affordable price via the Goblin NPCs presently dealing in hourglasses.
What I really truly want are the following two things:
1) the ability for anyone to come and go as they please without the need to make reservations, or to have to wait on official matches (or work around them in Brenner).
2) to lower or remove the minimum player requirement to participate in an official match. I've gotten so tired of cancelled matches that I, myself, have given up on it.
To make Ballista appeal to a larger crowd would not be asking much, but I doubt it'll get enough attention from developers to bother adding any new rewards or anything to hook the Ballista-ignorant players to at least give it a try. Why not? And furthermore, why not just make it easier for us to participate in one of our favorite segments the game has to offer? It's not going to effect anyone but us, and it'll be an easily positive improvement.
