I wanted to discuss the issue of distance a actual shout encompasses and the ability to go pass what is estabilished for comunication aspects amongst players . Some of my ideas are as follows
Sever shout

I think the addition of a sever shout system would have some advantages. You could see mission shouts party invites shouts etc while off soloing or doing your own thing or something you are interested in .(instead of standing in port jueno atm watching them ><; or having your seach comment up since alot people dont use the /sea all)
To implement the spam this might cause I can see the need of a server shout (city shout or what not XD)filter being added needed to implement this for when you are buzy or dont want be bothered.
Also this elimates the use of a duo character having to stand in a specific area just to watch for something to be shouted hoping they are in the right area
City shout
/city
Another concept I can see being added is a all city shout or a specific city shout . This can be specific for the town you are in reaching all the zones you are currently in. (example in windy would include waters walls port and woods )
Zone shout
/zone
Due to the distance a shout actualy empcompanses you still might miss a shout standing on the other part of a map to resolve this issue I came up with this idea . A zone shout that could hit everyone in the entire zone regardless of range.
Each add on for shout could also recive a filter for peopel who wanted to turn it off in conjunction with addition the new content
The cons I see coming up is spammers who argue or use this tool to abusive or incorect way. Mostly with the /world shout because it woudl entail everyone basicaly
This could be a useful tool letting people get the freedom of going off adventuring still linked to other peoples intrests in the world who might not be on there friend list linkshell or checking there search all comments.
