Mog Bonanza Mythic winners and the new update

You just like to state your speculation as fact sometimes.

Also, I did actually read the other person's account and even stated that I was in the same situation, having obtained my second mythic without viewing the final CS to complete the "Coming Full Circle" quest. I was merely stating that our situations were the same and remedied in an identical manner and that you couldn't use his (or my) situation as evidence that the quest was broken. It has come to light that other people in different situations have had difficulties unlocking the quest, so yes, the quest appears to be bugged.

Never do I intend to... my suppositions are always just that.
If I have come accross that way.... I blame textual based communication that lacks the nuance of faces and tone.

And I am the first to call my idle gossip as just that.
I often even try to make sure that anything I don't know 100% will start with "this is just my supposition" or end with something similar... But I am a scientist, so I stand by my hypothesis...
However, when new data comes to light... Or someone makes a persuasive argument... I will be the first to dismiss my old hypothesis and develop a new one.
Science.

Why is updating mythics so damn hard to code...
Why isn't SE just using the same if;then coding that triggers the +1 "quests" that let you +1 AF and relic pieces?
Why bother with this overly complicated coding... when you can just do a base gear check??
A base gear check is already a part of the complicated code to begin with!

EDIT: Also, I'm sorry for snapping at you. I can get defensive sometimes... and I know I have the capability to be.... rather caustic.
Though thankfully I kept myself mostly civil.

Anyway, the OP has not even specified if he has been locked out of the quest or if he's just speculating so we can't even be certain what's going on with him.

huh.... I guess we can't say if he did try or not...
I just kinda took his second post for "I tried it now"...

Though I think it's safe to assume from all the other inputs, that not ever having actually forged a mythic locks you out of the quest.

I have a 99 Burtgang through Mog Bonanaza and I can say that I am locked out of the quest.

Which I find incredibly suspicious considering they put it in the update notes that you need the cs.

I'm under the impression that this was intended because I created a thread in bugs and was told to move it to gameplay.

why wouldn't they just confirm that it was a bug?

• If you're making progress towards creating a second mythic weapon.
• If you've received a mythic weapon from a previous Mog Bonanza.
