New(ish) player on Carbuncle!

Hey! So I've been playing FFXI since the release of Seekers of Adoulin - I'm playing on Xbox 360 and it wasn't available for a while. I've had the long-term goal of playing through Final Fantasy I-XII in order and... I got up to XI!
I had a friend whose linkshell I joined but everyone has since moved on to FFXIV and that game doesn't really interest me.

Now I'm on my own and have been soloing everything for more months than I should admit to? Progress has been slow, but apparently that's the name of the game. I'm hoping to maybe meet other medium-level players on the forum... or at least folks who can tolerate my own lower-than-99 job levels? I don't really know what I'm doing! WOAH BOY!

I'm currently a 43RDM/21 NIN on the Carbuncle server. I'm hoping to play through the original main story missions; from my perspective, taking down the hardest bosses and getting the best gear seems like something that's going to take LONGER THAN I CAN PLAN!

Hi, I have a small social LS. Nothing that can rival with the HLs in the server but we are friendly and do a lot of old school stuff. If you want to join, just send a tell to Darwena, Mailia or Romaida. BTW we play mainly in the evening EST and weekends. I can't promise you to have 22 jobs lv99 with the best gears on it on the 1st month but at least we can cheer you when you need.
