I think you took my post entirely the wrong way. I have no problem with you. It wasn't intended to be an attack on you. I was voicing my opinion as to why I'm personally fed up with the game - and that's due to lack of consistent content updates.

Your opinions are all fine by me -- however, I am of the belief that new engaging content should have priority over menial adjustments to aspects of the game which are (and have) functioned fine for a long time (in regards to SV duration, Chainspell, and the 'Stun' spell and its associated enmity).

People are quitting largely through boredom (I know this doesn't apply to everyone; some people are still working through content and working on their long term goals). However, its evident that this is no longer true for the majority.

Changing aspects of the game which aren't really a problem isn't going to bring people back. Its delusional to think it will. Its also not going to make the game more entertaining.

As for me pointing out that all these forums tend to be are complaints for 'change this so it suits me'; that wasn't an attack on you - its how the majority of the posts on this forum read.

I know not everyone will agree with each other. But if you do carefully read my replies. I try to give you a different point of view than what is being complained about.

As I said before, coming to the forums is about learning from each other. There are so many cultures who have different ideas and different points of view.

I actually come here to learn from other people. If I disagree and prove me wrong then I have the guts and decency to admit that I was wrong.

If I make a wrong assumption and yes human error exist, I don't stay quiet and ignore my mistake. I flat out apologize to people and make things right so we can move forward.

What I see is people don't actually see the person on the other side of the computer screen makes it easier to trash someone else because they don't matter when its someone you don't know personally or intend to get to know personally.

But in reality you are trashing everyday people you interact with on a daily basis and when people do this in game, eventually you will bump into those same people and participate in the same activities because FFXI is a very small world.

However we all have our bad days and I know demon you are a cool person to hang out with. So I apologize too.

I think so many of us are over stressed with this game and many are fed up to the point that we all are changing our attitudes and taking it out on each other.

@ Danzusu, disregard all of my replies to you. I posted my response too quick and didnt correctly pay attention to the name of the person I am responding to.

That's my fault for not looking at your name correctly and only looking at your sprite.

You are not even the person I thought you were. Which is my mistake.

And I'm not going to go back and correct my post to hide my mistake to prove that human error happens and even I misunderstand people too.

I honestly dont care if you want to hate me and post nasty comments everytime i post on the forums. It only shows how ignorant you people are. And honestly im tired of you guys taking a few comments and then automatically generalizing things i say as if im talking about every single person.

Its easy to be lazy and think that way. its like saying a group of Asians in America did something bad and then automatically you think all asians are bad. This is how you generalize my comments.

If I say most people I interacted with in the JP community have been nice and did not do certain things. You will generalize my remarks and assumed that Im talking about all JPs.

If I say the NA players I have interacted on the forums were rude to me and so negative to the point that i see people leave the game, you will automatically assume im talking shi* about every single person on the forums.

And I am sick and tired of all of you responding to me in such a rudely manner acting if I am the bad guy when your responses are enough to show everyone exactly how people act on the forums.

Ive been respectful and I have been nice but Im so sick and tired of you guys throwing things in my face, make wrong assumptions and put me down for trying to be part of the community.

Its so easy to judge people you dont know. People on phoenix did the same thing. Yeah I have decent knowledge. Doesnt mean I go around and claim in know more than everybody nor do I intend to rub off and Mr. Know It All. But always people have nothing else to do but judge and then find out later that Im not a bad person to begin with and how they made the wrong assumption over me.

Still to this day regardless of debates, I do not hold a grudge on anyone and still give everyone the same respect like to you Karah, Slaxx, Demon, Frank, and everyone else i have debated with. I may not agree with you on certain things but I have been decent enough to respond and admit on things I do agree with you. And I have never shown you that i hate or disrespect you unless you go too far.

If they really wanted to fix this game into the power house it was they could easily. But they wont, its not financially smart to do so.
they have xiv out and a lot of newer games in the works along with the whole lightning series and then ff15 in the works. I have truley loved this game since the NA release. Even when all my linkshells and friends left I bought another xi game to dual box with. I love all the old content such as nation missions, quests, zilart and cop. Even going after NMs the old way. But I do believe they aren't trying to keep this game going much longer. In fact in the 11 years I have been a customer that never canceled their account I had my account banned yesterday with no explanation of a reason why. I logged in on my main account on my laptop for the first time instead of my desktop and the next day im banned for suspicious behavior. The point is after 11 years I have given SE around 132 straight months of payments and I get banned so I have no intention of giving them anything else since they have shown they don't care for their customers. Be it threw their non replys on these forums and not listening to us to banning people with no real reason.

Yeah I agree, why waste money on a game that is pretty much reaching the end of its shelf life.
