Bibiki seashell

During a lag out from besiged my bibiki seashell vanished. I contacted a gm and was said there nothing that can be done because i didnt know the exact time it went missing. And also to the people who threw thier by mistake. Just wondering if there will ever be a way to obtain this item again for those of us who werent so fortuante as to be able to recover the item or obtain after it could no longer be thrown.

This is a very easy fix. They could have you talk to the NPC if you have the quest finished, he could tell you that he found it on a specific beach in Bibiki Bay. You go there, check a ??? and get a new one. (But, once more, only if you have completed the quest.) Problem solved.

I threw mine at an orc when i was going for ws in desperation of saving a whm friend of mine >< i would gladly redo the quest in an instant, i believe there should be a feature, like the af resetter, who can reset any quest you have completed, maybe like the goblin footprint gobs that gives you a potion where you can forget you ever did the quest?

The problem with this would be people exploiting this feature to redo quests granting gil rewards or items that can be sold.

I should clarify this statement really, it would only work for quests that have an non-repeatable item such has the bibiki shell, so you can't have the item in you're inventory to re-obtain the reward, i don't think it would be too difficult to implement a check of what the reward was and say "oh that quest only gives gil, you can't erase that"
