Shutting down differs from logging out in that it closes the PlayOnline viewer as well as ends your session of FINAL FANTASY XI after thirty seconds.

    Press the Enter key after selecting "Shut Down" in the main menu	Click on "Shut Down" in the main menu

  • Closing the Shut Down Window

    Press the ESC key while the window is active	Right click while the window is active, click the "Cancel" button, or click on the "x" in the upper right corner
