- Activating the New User Interface
To activate the new user interface, you must first update your Test Client to the latest version and check the box next to “Activate New UI” in the “Misc.” tab of the FINAL FANTASY XI Config program.
- Screen Resolution
The new interface allows for multiple windows to be open simultaneously. As such, while it is possible to use the new UI at lower resolutions, we recommend that you play at an increased resolution to accommodate having several windows open at once.
- Known Issues
- Activating the new user interface will remove the “Test Server” description on the title logo.
- The Dock System icon does not display correctly.
- Certain interface menus contain typographical errors and have text omitted.
- Messages cannot be properly received from friends registered to players' friend lists.
