    Your favourite part of FFXI

So! I'm in a great mood, and want to stay in a great mood! So I'm thinking to all my favourite parts of FFXI and how I would love to see them grow or expanded!

    For Example:

I love the add-on scenarios with their storyline! I'd love to see them add more mini-scenarios/storylines through quests about favourite characters, like maybe one about Maat in the past, how he got to be the grand master of all the jobs in Jeuno. Or a storyline about Aht Urhgan secretly invading the middlelands.

I also loved Abyssea! I would love to see other zones tied into those expansions... Like have cavernous maws pop up in ToAU zones, past zones, and SoA zones!

Please post your favourite part of FFXI and how you ant to see it expanded!

The battle system. Its 90% of a MMORPG and theres nothing in the MMORPG market that is as decent as FFXI.

I concur. However my favorite feature is the adaptability.

Ninja tanking. I love it. I forget how much I love it til I dig my ninja out for something.

I used to love the community and how much reputation mattered.

The mystery of what awaits us in the world of vana'diel, and the diverse job system with its multiple jobs allowing players options.

As Skull said, I'm particularly fond of the job system and its ability to allow one character to play all of these roles. It really creates a connection to your character, allowing you to do all of these things as one person instead of having to have a new character for every role you want to play. If I want to melee? I jump on my Dragoon or my Samurai. I feel like soloing? Puppetmaster and Beastmaster both do very well. I'm needed for support? Say no more, I'll toss the dice as Corsair or open up my grimoire for some Scholar stun-locking. Of course, this requires the work to level and gear all of your jobs properly as well as learn their play applications, but isn't that half the fun of leveling them anyway?

The world. Vana diel is by far my favourite world from any FF game. And i would really like SE do do something else with it one day in a single player game.

I just love everything! The storyline, the environments, the events (Have I mentioned my replica Mumor and Uka outfits before in other posts? ^^) But I think 3 things are the foundation for everything else. 1. The controls are simple enough for an incompedent buttonsmasher like me to play but compicated enough to be a popular game. 2. The ability to turn the effects OFF. As a person with epilespy, that means everything. And 3. The players. I've met people from around the world I would never meet otherwise. And even when you just spend the day in your moghouse talking with your friends, it still feels like an accomplished day.
