Any plans for level 100+ Instruments?

It's been a while since some better-quality instruments have been introduced to the Auction House. As stated before, some people who don't play BRD exclusively could use some higher-quality wind & string instruments that can hold their own in Delve or Wildskeeper reives.

You can already hold your own in these situations. +3 instruments are only -1 off a level 99 Ghorn.

That appears true as far as buffing goes, but are they effective as far as landing Requiems, Lullabies, and the like with capped skills?

That's not really related to the instrument.

Instrument has never had anything to do with that. If you lack decent-quality M.acc gear, then an instrument isn't going to help you much. I mean hell, my m.acc set isn't amazing compared to Phil's (but then again, who can compete with 99 R/M/E Bards? xD) but even I have little difficulty landing most of my debuffs. An idea of my m.acc gear for landing debuffs:

*For Instrument - Pan's Horn for single-target Lullabies, any Harp for Hordes; Syrinx for Elegies, and any Wind Instruments for Requiem/Nocturne/Threnody.

My point is that it's pretty easy to get together a decent M.acc set for BRD, and land debuffs with fair ease. In all of that, the only thing I have trouble landing is Finales at times, as some mobs are just resistant. Requiems have always been... well, Requiems, but things like Elegy, Lullaby, and Nocturne tend to be easy to land. Hell, it's easy to sleep Delve NMs with Lullaby, as part of our strategies involves sleeping the Eft long enough for us to smack the Matamata when it's ready, or sleeping NMs that linked onto ones pulled.

As Phil said, it's easy to get most of the +3 instruments, and they're not all THAT much behind a level 99 Ghorn. We're not really in need of more instruments, as long as M.acc sets are made.

Since the requiem update, I almost never see it resisted now. Using requiem flute.

Gjallarhorn still offers 50-60 Macc over the next best option.

Instruments do not appear to get iLevels, so they will not ever be listed over 99.

They should have a leathercraft synth that makes a flute out of eight behemoth leathers, with all the shanks people have been using lately.
