Quest won't repeat

I did "It Never Goes Out of Style" last week, the quest says it is repeatable and the NPC also says if I get more bring to him. It didn't work after zoning so I figured it was after Conquest Tally. I tried again last night (one day after Tally), he says if I get more bring to him but he won't accept the 2 Necklaces.

It's possible it could be connected to the previous fetch quests with the twit wings/velkk neck or mask/umbril ooze? You have to complete the entire chain before being able to repeat it, just a guess though.

I tried also the other quest with Velk necklaces, by starting at "It sets my heart a flutter" that one also is repeatable however it won't repeat, which means the next one "A Good Pair of Crocs" won't repeat. The quest "It Never Goes Out of Style" has no prior quest.

Illen: the line of quests you're describing does repeat. I do them weekly. The final quest requires Umbral Ooze and is from another NPC. Details are on other community forum sites.

that's umbril ooze(umbril drop), not umbral marrow(ark dynamis lord drop)

I contacted a GM about "It Never Goes Out of Style" not being repeatable.
I had to log off before they got back to me, but next time I came on I had a message saying that based on the items I was trading, the quest was working as intended...
They suggested I ask fellow adventurers or check the community sites.
