    Stat Adjustments Request

    Dear Devs,

Please raise our overall stats or allow us to convert our gear into permanent stats so we can free up our inventory space. What do I mean by this?

If we can collect the gear to reach certain caps say like Enhancing 500+. I think it would ease up our inventory woes if you would allow us to convert those pieces either by a Magian trial or some quest into a Ki or permanent stats so we can have a reason not to carry so many sets. It's becoming rudely ridiculous to limit us to 80 inventory and then force us into a horrible position of deciding what to carry and what to leave behind especially playing RDM and SCH although I'm sure many other jobs have this same issue. Too much new gear what are you expecting of all of us serious players who show up to events trying to be prepared for every occasion? Before SoA we never had the reason to show up fully capped for most things except when playing Scholar for Embrava "Before" the notorious nerf and because enfeebling was resisted, no one really felt the need to cap enfeebling magic. Enhancing really didn't matter so much either.

Point is SoA changed everything. Higher level mobs forces us to carry several equipment sets that cap our skills. Otherwise our performance turns out gimp.

If we are able to collect enough pieces to reach 50% Cure Potency, -50% PDT, rather than have us carry so much equipment, why not allow us to have these stats permanently implemented to the job we choose? Either way we did invest the time and effort to collect them no?

There is really no skill in mashing Macro buttons. It's just a problem trying to switch every single gear slot in such a short time window. Sometimes all pieces do not switch over in time example like when you lowered the cast time of elemental spells? Im speaking as a 110% Legit Player who does not use 3rd party programs.

Or please please please for the love of Vana raise our magic/combat skill stats so we don't have to carry so much gear to reach full cap.

It's sad that us mages have to carry not only 500+ Enfeebling but also INT, MND and Magic Accuracy gear to make spells land. Seriously? Why does it take so much gear just for this??

I blame SoA and new gear constantly being released is not helping us solve inventory. There has got to be other players carrying several gear sets who knows exactly what i'm talking about and not just mages but also DD >.>

    Can anyone else relate? Thanks.

The problem with this is what happens when new gear comes out? How world you change permanent stats?

I get where you're coming from, but this would be a mess.

It's easier, as others have suggested and supported, to convert macro gear into Key Items. With a swap to valor leggings +2, my sentinel is like a mini invincible, phalanx extends that. In another magian trial, they'd take away my boots / leave it up to me whether I wanted to drop/store them and the key item would just always make my sentinel (as pld main) that good. Equipping valor leggings +2 would have 0 impact on sentinel.

Either that, or a magian trial to trade your AF1+1, Af2+2 augmented, and AF3+2 in and get an AF4 piece with the combined stats, but that's another thread.

Yeah I was the one who made the AF4 post. This topic differs however from AF. Would be making a simple request more complicated, thats why i made a seperate post than include it in the AF4 topic.

The difference is, i was talking about Cap sets because we know there are many. Like Haste 25% cap, Cure Potency 50% cap, -pdt 50% cap, enhancing 500 Cap. The point is before SoA, we didnt really need to have fully capped sets for everything we did unlike SoA where its required. Which leads us to show up with tons of gear because we cant sacrifice pieces to make it work. What do I mean?

You wouldnt want to sacrifice 15-30+ enhancing gear to drop your Enhancing cap to 470 for the sake of "conserving inventory space" Same goes for other sets.

SE didnt have the need to give us higher stats because well most monsters didnt require it.

Before SOA, a lot of people were capped, or as close to cap as they could be, on every facet of their favorite jobs, save for a lot of people not caring about enfeebles, because SE didn't care about enfeebles.

For instance, with the exception of PDT feet from bayld, I don't think anyone's PDT sets have changed at all directly because of SOA.

Slips to store bayld gear would alleviate a lot of woes for a lot of people, but I also understand approaching 80/80 and not wanting to put any of it away.

Well yeah I know people had cap sets, what I meant was survival without cap sets or showing signs of being gimp isnt the same as SoA. You had the flexibility to leave some gear behind if you wanted to.
