on the basis that everyone has to run through the tree and the aery is a dungeon, people would have to outpost to Zi'Tah, which is right beside the tree. Cutting like a 5 minute walk is not asking for a limb, and as a normal area Nexus should be allowed to be used if it's not a dungeon, otherwise it loses the potential of getting it.
It might have something to do with the fact that they can only guarantee people have base ffxi and zilart expansions. There are 2 COP zones, Uleg Range and Attowah ,that you can nexus too (so I cant explain that) but I remember them saying something along those lines. maybe cause those zones are connected right to zilart zones where bibiki for example involves a boat trip to get to the island part.
Well honestly there are a few reasons why that wouldn't work, for instance, in order to Nexus to an area you have to have been there before already, so without the expansion, I would not be able to go there, and without going there at least once, I could not nexus there. Now you could say I uninstalled the expansion, or had to reinstall the game, but then again so far as I know if you did that kinda thing it could just tell you "You cannot enter this area" or something to that effect, and return you to where you were. In either case, I still fail to understand why they never expanded this cape, or really, why it was so small to begin with. Some things like the Sanctuary might have had some meaning in the past, but that's the past, not now, which is why it should be updated, because at this point there is no reason why we should not have some of these things.
