Extended Login Campaign what?

When was this announced? I honestly did not see this and I had 19 logins which I gave up thinking it was over on the 31st..

Also I thinks it's unfair that 1 day was extended for the event but 1 extra day wasn't added to claim prizes.

Would have made a difference if I knew this. I would assume it was announced last minute?

an announcement was made on the site on the 30th and I believe it was in our notes at log in (but im not 100% sure on that) which gave us 2 days notice. the claim prizes date has been set since the beginning, so you should have been rdy to claim those prizes if you read the post.

The only reason the points were extended a day is because the game went down almost a full day during it, and I assume it was a last minute decision to appease the forumers who were /raging about it.

That being said (and not trying to be a jerk about it but...), its an mmo, you need to check the site daily (twice is better) for news, it only takes a moment and is quicker then checking your fb, they cant personally call or email everyone when a date is changed. I don't know of a game that does send emails or whatever for any and all changes.

Well 2 days before the event is not good enough. You do know some people pay bills at the end/beginning of the month right? After I thought I failed to reach 20 logins I gave up. That's really not my fault.

tbh we were all on an even footing, I hardly check the site and yet I claimed my prizes, I had bills to pay, but I had my stuff planned out from the beginning:

4x KSNM 99 pops (of which several would be used throughout the campaign)
A few toys
Skygod popssets

Did this with all of my mules, I am a happy camper atm.

tbh we were all on an even footing, I hardly check the site and yet I claimed my prizes, I had bills to pay, but I had my stuff planned out from the beginning:

Yeah well as I said I was trying to reach 20 logins to get the mask. I also assumed the login event ended on the 5th at the end of the day (my fault for not reading the rest i admit.) Technically if it ended at 7:59am on the 5th that means we had 4 days to claim the prize. Making it now 3 days by extending the day to 1 more if the event ended on the 1st. At any rate I already lost motivation after I assumed I failed to reach 20 logins thinking it was over on the 31st. I don't play FFXI as much as I did before. I did my best to login everyday but my irl priorities were more important.

Difference is if I knew I could have made that last Login I could have made the extra effort to do it.

Difference is if I knew we had 1 extra day extended, I could have made the effort to make that last Login. Which could have been announced earlier in the event than 2 days before it ended. I even participated in the conversation about how others felt it was unfair to lose 1 day due to emergency maintenance.

Failing by 1 login after dedicating 19 days is a reasonable reason to lose motivation in this event.
